What makes Home Sweet Home In-Home Care different? Our professionally trained caregivers and our high standard of care throughout Southwest Michigan.

Home Sweet Home caregivers are dedicated to providing top notch home care assistance and are extensively trained in a wide range of specialized care needs: dementia care, nutrition, vital sign measurement, infection control, and the safe use of medical equipment, including Hoyer and other types of lifts, just to name a few. And this intensive training is ongoing, to ensure that they are always up to date with the latest care trends for our clients.

We go above and beyond what most other agencies provide in terms of training, offering our own custom designed programs to fully equip, prepare, and engage each caregiver to provide consistent care that goes well beyond industry standards. We work personally and directly with all of our caregivers to ensure that they have the skills necessary to provide excellence in care.

Additionally, we provide the families we serve with an extra measure of trust by utilizing a telephony clock-in system to ensure our caregivers are always on time and accountable. It’s just one of many ways we foster integrity, efficiency, and dependability.

Every caregiver who works for Home Sweet Home In-Home Care must pass:

Eric founded Home Sweet Home In-Home Care after his grandmother had a less than stellar experience with two home care agencies. Eric knew seniors in the St. Joseph area needed a better solution to help them feel safe, secure, and comfortable at home. He partnered with long-time friend Joseph Najacht to create Home Sweet Home In-Home Care, a senior care agency that strives to care for clients as if they were family and provide services that give clients a sense of reassurance and control that they might have felt was being lost through the aging process.

Joseph brings a wealth of education and experience to Home Sweet Home In-Home Care. Joseph’s work in a nursing home inspired him to start an agency that would allow older adults to receive the care they need where it matters most – at home. Witnessing the residents at the nursing home deteriorate and become unhappy made him want to work hard to preserve their happiness and keep them in their homes where they feel happier and more comfortable.
